Wingfield’s Workshop is born of Elliott’s inherent passion for framing and preserving the architectural beauty of the built environment.
Inspired by his father Melvyn, (a passionate creative and perfectionist who dedicated his life to music and making things) Elliott studied architecture to RIBA Part II level at a top-5 UK school, qualified with distinction and spent 10 years in architectural practice and as a postgraduate lecturer and tutor, for various architectural design studios.
In 2016, he moved back to his hometown of Bristol, where he built a successful career as a professional architectural visualisation artist - www.airtightgroup.co.uk - creating imagery and animations for some of the most distinguished architectural firms across the country.
He has been designing and constructing architectural models professionally and for pleasure throughout this time, refining a signature sculptural approach and exceptional material palette which he now employs for both self-driven and commissioned pieces.
He lives with his new family in BS10, working from his self-built garage studio, dreaming up new models worthy of the WW brand.
