The Arnolfini Arts Centre; Bush House @ 1:100 Scale | 001 of The Bristol Icons Series
The Bristol Icons series is an initiative designed to bring attention to and help preserve some of Bristol’s most beloved and often underappreciated architecture.
The models built in this series will first be offered to the institutions themselves for display and safekeeping. After a year, they will be auctioned to raise funding towards the preservation of these important architectural works.
Bush House, now known as the Arnolfini Arts Centre, commands a central position on Bristol harbour. It was built between 1830 and 1831 for Acraman, Bush, Castle and Company, by R. S. Pope.
The model itself is built to 1:100 scale and measures 767mm (l) x 607mm (w) x 358mm (h)
